Antares Concepts

We conceive, design and make simple wooden items that can be painted, given as gifts and enjoyed by all ages, all items are unique to us, individually handmade with a quality finish and may be customised on request.

We make a range of vehicles, aeroplanes, trains, and have even made a complete English village. We also turn in wood, beautiful decorative bowls, candle -holders, light pulls and boxes, with either a natural, polished, gilded or painted finish. All of these items are ideal for special gifts or party-bag fillers.

Our garden range includes: handmade, stone-effect cottages, cast in concrete from our own moulds and designs, and large, wooden steam trains and stone-cast cats; used as either pot holders or purely ornamental, they will enhance your garden patio or windowsill.

Lynda's Cushions

I have always sewn and a few year ago I took a City & Guilds Course in Soft Furnishings where one of the things the course covered was decorative cushions which I loved making.

I then needed an outlet for all the cushions I was making so I took a stall at Abbey Mills I never thought I would enjoy it there as much I have done.

All the cushions are personalised as requested by customers and I have a portfolio of designs already made. I also make personalised Bunting and children’s bags and aprons as well as throws and hearts which are also personalised. I hope to see you at my stall Saturdays and Sundays.

Patrik's Fine Food Fayre

Hi, we are Patrik’s cheese and chutney, two people who are passionate about what we make and sell.

We make all our own preserves, packed with fresh fruit, chutneys and pickles using only fresh vegetables with no preservatives or colourants.

We also have another passion, which is the fact that this country produces the best cheese in the world and we are proud to sell a large selection which you won’t find in your local supermarket with some hidden treasures you may have never tried before! We must confess to a couple of cheeses not British but essential, a 2 year old Parmiaggiano Reggiano, a Greek Feta and a Gouda with cumin seeds.

We also sell beautiful breads made by a clever Sicilian, wonderful unblended honeys made in Whyteleafe Surrey by a couple so committed to protecting bees and teaching bee keeping to others that they have built their own school! Hen and duck eggs laid in Godstone, apple juices grown in Lamberhurst by two very talented people who also believe in honest food and fresh meat which we can prove the provenance of.

Last but not least we have a selection of naughty sides, including; homemade millionaires shortbread, chocolate brownies, fruit flapjacks and muffins all of which have no calories on weekends and are homemade!

Please visit us at Merton Abbey Mills Friday, Saturday and Sunday next to the Colour House Theatre, we look forward to seeing you there and supporting your local market.

Ron Newsham Artist & Photographer

When I found out (aged 55) I was going to be made redundant, Fivepoint Design Limited and was formed. The first is a graphic design business -my chosen profession.

The second one is, my hobby. is the business I really enjoy doing. Going to different parts of London, chatting to locals, enjoying the atmosphere, walking miles to get a good shot, photography is something I have loved doing ever since enrolling at art college in the 1970's, and the best thing is, you have a product everyone can enjoy. covers two subject matters- the London scenes- Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament etc. etc. and the Old London, the shops, streets and people of areas that are still standing or haven't as yet, as we called it in the 80's, been yuppified.

My stall at Merton Abbey Mills sells my photographs and also offers a pencil portraiture service, drawing people and pets from
